Overview
BillNote is a personal finance app for iOS. This policy explains what information we handle and why. Unless otherwise stated, all data described below relates to your use of the iOS app.
Scope
This policy applies to the BillNote iOS application. The app may be used by minors; the app does not request or require sensitive personal information.
Information We Collect
- Crash logs: We may collect crash diagnostics to help us identify and fix stability issues.
- Third‑party SDK data: The app integrates the Google AdMob SDK, which may collect the advertising identifier (IDFA) from your device to deliver and measure ads in compliance with platform policies.
BillNote does not create user accounts and does not store your financial records on our servers.
How We Use Information
- Troubleshoot crashes and technical issues.
- Improve app quality and user experience.
Processing
Where possible we de‑identify or anonymize diagnostic data. Certain decisions such as ad delivery and frequency may be automated by the AdMob platform.
Sharing and Third Parties
We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may process device information such as the advertising identifier to serve and measure ads according to Google’s policies and your platform settings. We do not sell your personal information.
Data Storage and Retention
Your finance data is stored locally on your device. When you uninstall the app, locally stored data is removed by the operating system. Diagnostic data and advertising data handled by third parties follow their own retention practices.
Your Choices
- Ad tracking controls: On iOS, you can limit ad tracking/IDFA in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Delete local data: You can remove the app to delete data stored on your device.
Children’s Privacy
The app may be used by children under the age of 13/16. We do not knowingly request sensitive personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided such information, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the effective date shown above.
